On June 26, Weilit Marine Engineering(Shanghai) Co.,Ltd and SMMC Marine Drive Systems(Suzhou) Co.,LTD. formally signed the exclusive agency agreement of the Russian market. The two sides made full use of their respective strengths and intended to enter the Russian propulsion system market through strong cooperation.

SMMC Marine Drive Systems(Suzhou) Co.,LTD. (former Suzhou Marine Machinery Corp.) was a state owned enterprise in 2006, reformed its stockholding system in 2011. SMMC is not specialized in manufacturing of products ranged from main propulsion CPP、azimuth propeller(CP & FP) and tunnel thruster(CP&FP). He is a professional enterprise domestic enterprise which has the long history、 most varied specification, the products are widely applications in navy warships、offshore engineering vessels and merchant vessels.

Senior leaders of both sides attended the signing ceremony. During the signing process, leaders of both sides fully exchanged ideas on Russian market development. It is hoped that in the next three years, SMMC Marine Drive Systems(Suzhou) Co.,LTD. will officially become the leader of Chinese enterprises in Russian propulsion system market.
